Updates On Books and Life

by Jean Knight Pace

I have been truly terrible at keeping this blog updated. Truthfully, if you want better updates, sign up for my newsletter, which I send out at least once a month (you’ll see the sign up in the sidebar). That said, I’m going to try to do better at posting once a month, so people can see what the heck is going on with me.

The Determiner is out, along with the second book in the series, The Z’astra. I’ll be updating the book section of this blog as well (and maybe try to make it prettier). The third book is titled, The Ethereal, and will be going up for preorder this summer.

Speaking of I’ve got a collection of stories that connect the worlds of Grey Stone and Grey Lore. It’s called Grey Fall and Other Stories. It’s up for preorder right now and will be available in October. It’s only $.99 on the preorder (my way of thanking you for getting it early!).

Speaking of preorders, my fourth sweet women’s fiction novel, From Snow, is also up for preorder and will be available November 1st.

As you can see, I’m currently working on a tooooonnnn of projects. The biggest new book right now is a book called Every Thirteen Years that is a Hansel and Gretel retelling–paranormal and YA. It’s been really fun. If you want to get a sneak peek of how it’s going, you can check it out on Kindle Vella, where I’m telling it serially (episode by episode). It will come out next year. I might even make a super fancy version with some of my daughter’s art (below is a quick sketch she did; isn’t it awesome?!?), and do a Kickstarter. Dreams….

I’ve also been working on a few essay collections, one about what I’ve learned from teaching piano, and one about what I’ve learned from flipping houses. Speaking of, if you’re interested in that, I’ll be putting some videos up on my FB group, Jean Knight Pace Writes. Go find me there! It’s probably the social media spot where I’m most active.

Those are the big writerly things. Plus my oldest daughter graduated from high school. Plus my son is coming home from his church mission this August and then heading to college. Help me!!!
