Sales and New Projects

by Jean Knight Pace

Just a quick post with some updates on my writing (and if you signed up for my email–which you absolutely should because I’m better at updating there than here–a lot of this will feel repetitive since I am stealing from it).

First, Four Seconds is on sale right now for $.99. You can grab it HERE! Later this year, I’m planning to “go wide” with it, meaning I’ll be making it available outside of Amazon (Nook, Kobo, Apple, etc). Look for that in the second half of the year.

If you love audio books, Pulse just arrived in audio. If you’d like to listen (and possibly review), I still have some redemption codes.

You can find it on Amazon or via Audible.

In other news, I’ve been working on a few stories on Kindle Vella. I know that most of my readers aren’t serial readers, but you might want to give some of these stories a try (you always get the first three episodes for free, and then Amazon will give you 200-500 tokens for free).

If you’d like to give one or all of these stories a try, you can find them here:

Flipped: Life Lessons from Fixing Houses

image

This is a bit of a passion creative project. As a side hustle, my husband and I buy and fix houses. Sometimes it’s a huge project, but I’ve started to notice that there’s an almost spiritual side to taking a severely neglected and/or broken house and cleaning/repairing it so that it something beautiful and valuable. These essays are my thoughts on that. I’m also hoping to begin a Youtube channel or Tiktok or Instagram or something where I showcase the houses and you can also see the transformation. In fact, now that I’m thinking about it, maybe I should put a few of them up on this blog. Hmmm…

Sheltered

A Christian historical fiction (short novella). It’s set in the Netherlands during WWII. I lived in The Netherlands for about a year in the late 90s and it has a special place in my heart. It had a special place in WWII as well. Since it was captured within days by the Germans, they learned to resist in other ways–by helping Allied captives make their way to freedom. This is a story about that.

The Tasty Cheapskate Cookbook

Once upon a time, I had a blog with tasty and cheap recipes. This cookbook is the continuation of that. It’s a place where tasty and cheap sit down together.

It starts with a lot of soup (it was January when I began) and goes into a lot of other things. I add a new recipe about once a week.

On the fantasy/scifi side of the spectrum, The Determiner is FREE right now on Kindle. This is to celebrate the preorder for book 2, The Z’astra. So if you or your kids love those books, have a look.
